Quick reference for GC office admins · app.gcefield.cc/desktop

1. Login & first steps

• Open /desktop — sign in with admin credentials from GCE onboarding.
• Click Load Backend on Sites if data does not appear after login.
• Dashboard shows active sites, missing documents, crews, and safety KPIs.
• Crew accounts (1/1) are for mobile only, not desktop.

2. Sites

• Add site: Sites → Add, or upload CDS Excel/PDF for AI-assisted import.
• Status: Pending Start → In Progress → Complete.
• Assign a crew per site; track progress steps and financials per site card.
• Archive completed sites; restore from Archive within retention window.

3. Crews & members

• Create crew with name + crew lead; set email for mobile login / invites.
• Add members manually or import Excel; use Invite for field access.
• Crew Documents tab: construction docs + OSHA certs for the whole crew.
• Buttons: Curăță duplicate, Redenumește AI for PDF naming.

4. Documents

• Site docs: CDS, SA, MA on each site — required for compliance tracking.
• Crew docs: upload folder (6 parallel); fast rename on upload, full AI rename on demand.
• Document types: CDS, SA, MA, PO, RFDS, FCD, ZONING, crew certificates.
• Missing docs appear on Dashboard → Operations briefing.

5. Mobile field app

• URL: /mobile → Add to Home Screen (PWA).
• Crew sees assigned sites, check-in/out, photos, files, daily updates.
• Safety manager (safety/safety) has extended mobile safety views.
• Sync is automatic when online; admin sees uploads on desktop within seconds.

6. Safety & check-in

• Desktop: Safety → Site Check-In, Incidents, Certifications.
• Field check-in photos flow to Safety → Documents tab.
• GPS may be required per company settings.

7. Tasks, calendar & finance

• Tasks: assign to sites/crews; overdue tasks show on Dashboard.
• Calendar: outages, PQA, closeout dates — also in Upcoming Deadlines.
• Finance: expenses, POs, deductibles per site.

8. Support & troubleshooting

• Status: /support · Email: support@gcefield.cc
• 502 / blank app: on server run systemctl restart gce-backend
• Stale UI: hard refresh Cmd+Shift+R
